Disclosure

According to the Federal Trade Commission, I must have a disclosure statement on here. I’m not convinced that a blogger who reviews books is such a big threat in a world full of infomercials that promise you can lose 20 pounds in six days, but in obedience to Romans 13:1-5, here I go.

I am an affiliate for Westminster Bookstore, Monergism Books, and Amazon. This means I get a small referral fee for purchases made through the links on this blog. To date, all referral fees have been used to purchase more books.

I also occasionally receive books from publishers. If I review a book that a publisher sends me, I always clearly disclose that in the review. I am always honest about the books I review and am not compensated for reviews or posts.

And while we’re stating the obvious, if you were to buy a copy of my book, I would receive royalties from that.

(I’m so sorry. I know you know this already. This wasn’t my idea.)

In all seriousness, I am a Christian, and although I do this blog mostly for fun, I consider it a ministry as well. If I were to mislead my readers just for the sake of a free book or two? Well, I’d have someone bigger to answer to than the FTC.

And that’s all I have to say about that.
